Gregor Hohpe on Enterprise Integration Patterns with BizTalk Server 2004

In case you have been living in a cave or something Gregor Hohpe is the author of this ground-breaking enterprise integration patterns book.  Ok, the book is cool because it defines a framework and syntax for describing integration patterns which has been long overdue.  However, while this book is a great read it didn't 100% resonate with me because while it provided a good structure to the space none of the examples included BizTalk Server!

Not to worry, Gregor just more than adequately resolved my little issue with a 57 page whitepaper he posted to his web site that describes how to use the generic patterns from the book in conjunction with BizTalk Server 2004.  Some of the patterns described include: a service interface, content enricher, recipient list, aggregator and message translator.  How cool is that! - thanks Gregor.

And in other important news, only 2 hours to wait (12:30 am here) until the AB's game kicks off.
