WPC10 Day 1 Recap

Yesterday at WPC10 was a very exciting day with lots of great information being shared out throughout all of the keynotes and sessions and communications taking place. Because of all of the things happening, I thought I would put up a quick post here to recap some of the big things that took place or were announced in case you happened to miss any of them.

  • Allison Watson (@Allison_Watson) kicked off with her final WPC opening and handed off to the new Corporate Vice President of the Worldwide Partner Group, Jon Roskill (@Jon_Roskill), who took the helm from there for the remainder of the keynote.

This move comes after the transition announcement made in June. You can view more about this:

  • I’ll post pics later today
  • Windows 7 Slates coming! Woohoo!
  • Announced: Windows Small Business Server “7” Preview and Windows Small Business Server (SBS) Code Name “Aurora” Preview: https://bit.ly/9gPXtU

And these are just some of the very exciting things happening here at #WPC10! If you are following me on my Twitter account, I will continue to bring you information as it happens throughout the keynotes and the conference as well and I’ll also continue to provide updates here on the blog on more items as they happen. Have a favorite moment so far from WPC10? Drop me a comment here or on Twitter and let me know! Also, couldn’t join us here in D.C. for #wpc10 keynotes? No worries! Day 2 is about to get started, so I’ll be bringing you even more info throughout today as it happens.
