Moving offices

All my Facebook friends who work in the same building as I do have been posting photos of the big cleanup we all went through as we got moved around within our building to new offices. Of the many things that go on during office moves (I've had 15 offices in the last 13 years), general cleaning and getting rid of old computers and books always happens. Here's the view out of my office over the last few weeks.

These are machines that are old, unneeded and have typically been replaces with virtual machines for the most part.  If nothing else, that’s a lot less electricity needed to power these things.

And the books also started to pile up, too.

Is that green book a Pascal book? Lots of old books - and this is only a partial representation of the pile up. An interesting side note to all this is that the books get donated to local charities that have book sales. A few of them also got gathered by other folks - reference books for the .NET framework or Excel macros are always needed by someone around here.

And I found this book which should help my productivity soar:

Next Monday is a holiday here in the US, so I'll be back on Thursday. See you then.

Questions, comments, concerns and criticisms always welcome,

John
