Verizon Wireless launch the Motorola Q9m

When I was at Tech Ed in the US pretty much every other customer I spoke with asked me - "When are Verizon going to bring out a new Windows Mobile 6 device"

Obviously I couldn't disclose those details at Tech Ed but finally it's great to see Verizon Wireless launch the Motorola Q9m

The 'm' stands for Music and the Q9m will have:

· Support over-the-air music downloads with Verizon “VCAST Music” : now you can not only take music where ever you go, but now you can also download music on the go with Verizon’s VCAST Music On Demand.

· Improved QWTERY keyboard: prevents fingers from slipping by making the keys square and domed, while adding a button to switch from the multimedia home screen to the Windows Mobile 6 home screen.

· Thumbwheel: enables easier navigation, one-handed operation.
