Gil dropped me an email about his simple application he'd written which provides a simple mechanism for controlling the Alarm functions on a Windows Mobile device.

It's called Spoon Alarm and allows you to:

  • Set your favorite mp3 song to wake up with
  • Snoozing
  • Using pre-configured alarms hours

    I get an error message saying that the application "requires a newer version of the Microsoft .Net Compact Framework than the version installed on this device."  This is a Cingular 8525 with WM 5 installed.  A little more helpful error message and maybe a pointer on the developer's website to the download and version required would be helpful.

    I installed on mobile 6 (french), unfortunately, it is impossible to select the stored mp3 sound files!
