Psion Teklogix launch the IKON Rugged PDA Phone

Ah... I remember the early days of the Psion Organiser.... writing applications on that device was my earliest experience of Mobile devices!

Today Psion Teklogix launched their new IKON device.  This rugged device has a 3.7 inch VGA display with built in Camera, GPS, GPRS, UMTS, Barcode Scanner, Bluetooth and WiFi.  You can also get it in 3 variants of Windows Mobile 6 Classic, Professional or CE version 5.

    Hmmm...is it just me or does that screenshot look like WM 2003 (SE or otherwise)?

    I got a notice in my email and was excited to see PSION in the PDA market again -- until I realized it was going to run on Windows. I guess you can't go back.

    That screen shot is from a mechanical sample that was built early this year. Not from a fully funcitonal terminal!
