My first question for the chat will be: When is the ETA for this bug fix ;-) https://connect.microsoft.com/IE/feedback/ViewFeedback.aspx?FeedbackID=431489 Checkbox and Radio buttons that are "checked" via JavaScript DO NOT PREVIEW/PRINT in a "checked" state in Standards Mode Major Regression since they preview/print just fine in IE6, IE7, and IE8 Compat Mode.

I have been trying to fix a problem with multiple tabs in IE7. There is no such problem with 2 different IE windows. I was wondering if you could share some thoughts on this problem. I am using Struts 2, Jsp and javascript for the same.  The case: Say, you have multiple tabs, say 2 tabs, open in the browser You submit in one tab and very quickly come to the other tab and submit (please note that in the second tab the data has to be ready to be submitted). 2 Ajax requests are sent to the server. In the action class the response value is set correctly in the request object for either of these calls, but it seems that for one, it never reaches the forwarded jsp. Only one response comes back correctly, the other response is empty though the ajax succeeds in each case and db is updated.

Will someone please ask why the Internet Explorer Application Compatibility VPC Images have not been updated? I've needed to deploy these at work for the last month and they are STILL set to expire at the end of April. Thanks to Microsoft pushing IE8 via security updates, they've really dropped the ball with regards to helping those of us who support content creators (thanks, guys, I really wanted to create multiple VPC images of my own, include antivirus, etc., then sysprep them and push them to the users -- when I could've just pushed out copies of these VPC images that have the proper browser and are disposable). http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=21EABB90-958F-4B64-B5F1-73D0A413C8EF&displaylang=en

I am having trouble getting my attachments (printer, usb camera download, picture printer etc. to work since I installed IE 8.  This all started over loading HP I Paq that I bought to use because my palm TT started giving me trouble so I knew I had better get new one.  My daughter took off 7 before she added 8.

Man that bug is worse that I thought. It affects IE8 (in Standards Mode only) All checkboxes/radio buttons that are altered AFTER the initial page load. This means if the JavaScript checked or unchecked them... or the user checked or unchecked them. They will all print preview AND PRINT in the original loaded state, not the CURRENT, CORRECT state!

I ownloaded IE8 Beta version before the full version became available with the intention of uploading the finalised version when it became available. Now I find that I cannot uninstall the Beta version nor can I upload the current version of IE8 because the downloader assumes I already have IE8 installed. The Beta version does not function properly and I must remove it. Any advice/assistance will be greatly appreciated.

FrJones, what "Explorer tab" are you referring to?
