Unable to connect through virtual machine via Azure Bastion and getting the error "The network connection to the bastion host appears unstable".

In the past, I had a similar issue. After unblocking the firewall port, I was able to login into AVD VMS using a domain account that wasn't working earlier. Kindly validate your firewall port?

We have the same issue. The only fix is to restart the target VM. I have created a MSFT ticket to understand better.
We have the same issue. I can only fix the Bastion connectivity to the VM by restarting the target VM. I have created an MSFT support ticket and working on it.

I have exactly the same issue. The only way to solve it is to restart the VM. And it is over SSH port, not RDP port.

Did you check if you can connect via RDP from a jumpbox VM instead bastion?
Are you using the default RDP port (3389) or has it been changed?
Did you confirm that RDP traffic allowed via NSG?
