Does teams region lock?

I am traveling abroad soon for 3 weeks and wanted to know if teams would work for me to be able to connect to my organization if I am abroad.

My IT department has 3 indefinite leaves and absences because of Coronavirus so the people I did asked said they are not sure but they don't see why not. Our company has a lot of protected data.

To test this out I tried connecting with NordVPN and I was locked out of meetings I guess because it is a common public IP. Does that mean it will kick me out if I have an IP from Germany when our company is US based? I just want to make sure I do not run into the issue.

    Hi Ted,

    What do you mean you are locked out of meetings?

    Could you provide us a screenshot to know your situation clearly?

    I am sure that you can log in your Teams account normally even you are aboard.

    In general, you can use Teams features without problems.
