I'm troubleshooting some Intune configuration profiles on MacOS 15. I expect to find IntuneMDMAgent date--time.log files in ~/Library/Logs/Microsoft/Intune, but the folder is missing.

The Microsoft Intune Agent.app is installed and running according to Activity Monitor. Script execution and other config profiles are functioning correctly.

@Ruslan Nalivaika Thanks for posting in our Q&A.

For this issue, we appreciate your help to collect some information:

    1.Verify Intune management agent Installation:

Double check if the Intune management agent is correctly installed. The agent is installed at /Library/Intune/Microsoft Intune Agent.app when applicable and doesn't appear in Finder > Applications on macOS devices.

    2.Check for Hidden Files:

The Library folder in the user's home directory is hidden by default. To access it, open Finder, click on the "Go" menu, and hold down the Option key. This will reveal the Library option in the menu. Navigate to Logs/Microsoft/Intune from there.

    3.Generate Diagnostic Logs:

You can manually generate diagnostic logs from the Intune Company Portal app. Open the Company Portal app, go to Help & Support, and select Send Diagnostic Report. This action might create the necessary log files and directories.

    4.Check System Logs:

If user logs (~/Library/Logs/Microsoft/Intune) are missing, please check if the system logs are located at /Library/Logs/Microsoft/Intune.

    5.Log Collection Information:

According to Microsoft documentation, if any admin-specified file is missing or has the wrong file extension, you will find these file names listed in LogCollectionInfo.txt1. This file might provide additional information on why the logs are missing.

    Hope it will help.

    • Go to Finder App > Go > Go to Folder...
    • Search for ~/Library/Logs/Microsoft/Intune path and double-click on the searched location to open.
