How to enable recovery of bitlocker keys for helpdesk without Global Reader role

Question

Looking for assistance on how to enable a helpdesk resource to recover bitlocker keys without being assigned to global reader. This role has significant privileges to see activities in security and compliance centers which I would like to avoid.
