Sync will not work. Seems to be a DNS issue? DNS does seem to be working fine in my environment.

    Based on your query, I understand that you have an issue with running sync cycle for your Entra ID connect.

    As per the error, I believe your sync service has been stopped which might be causing the issue. In such scenario's you need to ensure the check the following:

    1. Enable TLS1.2 on server where Entra ID connect has been installed. Here is the Microsoft document to enable TLS1.2: TLS 1.2 enforcement for Microsoft Entra Connect
    2. Check whether Microsoft Entra connect services are up and running. Goto services.msc and find "Microsoft Azure Ad sync" is running. If it is in stopped, kindly go through this document.
    3. The URL: https://autologon.microsoftazuread-sso.com which you have observed in the error should be available in site to zone assignment list. To achieve this please follow this document. Make sure these URLs are allowed through your proxy and firewalls.
    4. Also make sure to check running the delta or initial sync from Synchronization service manager as well. You can do that using the following document.
