Whenever I take a screenshot and send that to someone it takes forever to post that screenshot in the chat after I hit enter. I also have same issue something with text messages only. I reset the app, updated, cleared cache and did what ever I could find online and still the issue persists. This issue came recently within the last month before that there was no issue at all.

Since you're experiencing delays specifically in the Teams client when sending screenshots (and even with text messages), here are some targeted troubleshooting steps and considerations:

    1. Update and Restart Teams:

     • Confirm that your Teams client is running the latest version. Even if it auto-updates, sometimes a manual check can help.

     • Sign out and then sign back in to see if that resets any temporary session issues.

    1. Clear the Teams Cache Manually:

     • Even if you've reset the app, manually clearing the Teams cache can sometimes resolve lingering issues. On Windows, quit Teams completely, then delete the contents of the folder located at:

      %appdata%\Microsoft\Teams

     • Restart Teams after clearing the cache.

    1. Check Network Stability and Performance:

     • While you mentioned similar issues with texts, verify that your network connection is stable. If possible, try switching from Wi-Fi to a wired connection (or vice versa) to see if performance improves.

     • Sometimes delays can be related to bandwidth issues or network latency.

    1. Evaluate File Size and Image Processing:

     • Screenshots, especially if taken on high-resolution displays, can be larger in file size. If Teams is compressing or processing images before sending, this might be introducing a delay.

     • As a test, try sending other types of images or files to see if they experience the same lag.
