    Hello Shane,

    Sorry to hear that if you are refering to Microsoft authenticator you can follow the steps;

    Here’s what you can try if your Authenticator app isn't showing the prompt for the two-digit verification code:

    Check Notifications: Make sure that notifications for the Authenticator app are turned on in your phone's settings. Sometimes, the app won't show the approval prompt if notifications are disabled.

    Network Connection: Ensure your phone has a good internet connection (either Wi-Fi or mobile data). The Authenticator app needs a stable connection to work properly.

    Time and Date Settings: Verify that your phone's time and date settings are set to "automatic" (synchronized with the network). Incorrect time settings can cause issues with authentication.

    Alternate Sign-in Method: If the Authenticator app isn't working, try using another sign-in method like getting a code via text message or email if that option is available to you.

    Remove and Re-add Account: You can remove your account from the Authenticator app and then re-add it. To do this, go to your account's security settings, remove the Authenticator app, and then add it again by scanning the QR code.

    Check for Conflicts: If you have the Authenticator app on multiple devices, make sure there's no conflict between them. Sometimes, having the app on more than one device can cause issues.

    in my experience always work for me to remove and add back the account, you could reinstall the app

    I hope this helps. Let me know if you have any further questions or need additional assistance.

    Same issue - has there been a recent update to the app as this issue only occurred in last week? As my device is managed by IT dept then updates are installed automatically and App store is removed.

    I have 5 or 6 M365 accounts in the app and same experience with each of them.

    The workaround i have to use is to kill the app and then reopen it to see the two digit number pop up.

    So it does not appear to be an issue with the iPhone notification but the app itself, as the app doesn't display the code unless I kill it following retrieving the previous code if done in quick succession (eg signing into Edge and then signing into M365 itself in that Edge profile).
