We are using MS Forms for some of our assessments. This is having a hugely negative impact on dyslexic students who can't spell, as the answers are only marked correct if the spelling is correct. Is there a way around this?

    Hi Marie Ash,
Thank you for reaching out to us on the Microsoft Q&A platform.

To accommodate dyslexic students using Microsoft Forms, you can:

    • Allow multiple correct answers in text questions to account for spelling variations.
    • Use Multiple Choice questions to eliminate spelling issues altogether.
    • Manually review and adjust answers for minor spelling mistakes.
    • Enable Text-to-Speech or the Immersive Reader tool for better accessibility.
    • Encourage students to use spell check or dictation tools before submitting answers.

If you have any additional questions, please let us know in the comments and share with us an error screenshot for reference purposes. We’re happy to assist further.
