Since update KB5050094 one of my desktops is no longer able to acces network resources (mainly the NAS). Following error code: The system could not contact a domain controller to authenticate the request. Please try again later.

Flushing DNS, restarting router, restarting DHCP cliënt (not possible?), connecting with different (direct) cable, shutting down firewall nothing so far has made a difference. Network sharing is enabled on all computers.

I'm using W11 pro 24H2 on all computers and a FritzBox router with Synolgy NAS.

    Hello,

Thank you for posting in Q&A forum.

First, you could try uninstalling the update and see if that resolves the issue. To do this, go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update > View update history > Uninstall updates. Find the update in question and click Uninstall.

If the problem still doesn't resolve Windows may have changed the network discovery or sharing profiles. You can go to Network settings and change from Public to Domain and allow visibility for computers etc to see if that resolves the issue.

I hope the information above is helpful.

    Best regards

    Zunhui
