Hi everyone,
I have an Azure VPS with a static public IP, and I want my mobile device to use the same IP when accessing the internet.
Questions:
- Is it possible to route my mobile internet traffic through my Azure VPS so that it appears as if it's coming from the VPS IP?
- What is the best method to achieve this using Azure networking settings?
- Do I need a VPN or any special configurations in Azure to make this work?

Ensure your Azure NSG allows VPN traffic (e.g., port 1194 for OpenVPN) and install the corresponding VPN client on your mobile device. This method encrypts and securely routes all mobile traffic through your VPS.
Alternatively, you can set up a proxy server (e.g., Squid Proxy) on the VPS, but this only handles web traffic and lacks encryption.
Make sure your Azure VPS has a static public IP, and the NSG allows the necessary traffic.
