We are setting up a hybrid Exchange setup from Exchange 2029. We are trying to test the free/busy of migrated users mailbox after mailbox is migrated to Exchange online.

We have issue seeing free/busy status of Exchange online users from on-premises (on premise users). once we migrate them to Exchange Online.

We did troubleshoot by checking - Autodiscovery, Federation test, organization relationship, target sharing

    Hi @Pradeep Kabbur ,

Welcome to the Microsoft Q&A platform!

Based on your description, you are experiencing issues with free/busy status for on-premises Exchange Online users. Here are some additional steps you might consider taking:

    1. Make sure the default permissions on the calendar folder are set to at least "Free/Busy Time" or "Free/Busy Time, Subject, Location". If the permissions are set to "None" or "Contributors", on-premises users will not be able to view free/busy information.
    2. Double-check the organization relationship settings between on-premises Exchange and Exchange Online. Make sure the AvailabilityAddressSpace is configured correctly.
    3. Confirm that Autodiscover is configured correctly and accessible from both the on-premises and Exchange Online environments. This is critical for free/busy information retrieval.
    4. Run the Hybrid Configuration Wizard again to make sure all settings are applied correctly. Sometimes rerunning the wizard can resolve configuration issues.
    5. Make sure there are no firewall or network issues blocking communication between the on-premises and Exchange Online servers.
    6. Try testing free/busy status with different user accounts to see if the issue is specific to certain users or a broader issue.

Please feel free to contact me for any updates. And if this helps, don't forget to mark it as an answer.

    Best,
