As my title says, Microsoft Word apparently greyed out (and even removed until I restored it back to the ribbon) both Researcher and Quick Search, and I'd like to ungrey them out.

I have everything up to date, I have the proper subscription (I would think) and... to my memory when Copilot was officially added to Word and I disabled it, I was still able to Quick Search and Research just fine.

It's been like this for... at least a week at this point. Any help would be MASSIVE, thank you.

    Hi @Cindy Helms

Could you please share us with a screenshot of the Product Information via opening an Office app > click File > Account?

If there is any privacy information, such as email address, you may cover it.

Besides, does the Quick Search you said is the "Smart Lookup" shown in below image?

If so, this feature is retired now. The reference: https://support.microsoft.com/en-gb/office/get-insights-into-what-you-re-working-on-with-smart-lookup-debf2083-5ac0-4739-8667-ae2467bec044
