I can't delete Volume shadow copy storage association

Hey guys,

Is there any way to delete volume shadow copy storage associations on windows 10 Pro?

I checked the learn page about it, But it only applies as far as windows 8: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/previous-versions/windows/it-pro/windows-server-2012-r2-and-2012/cc785461(v=ws.11).

My backup software is trying to create a shadow copy on the "System Reserved" & "Recovery" partition, but it can't do it because there are very small partitions.

Any thoughts on how to solve or workaround it?

Thank you for posting in Q&A forum.

You can try to run the following cmd command with administrator rights to clear the shadow copies in the system volume information folder under the specified drive letter.

diskshadow

delete shadows volume E:
