How to share a link to a heading (from a Word document) in a Sharepoint

I have a Word document stored in a Sharepoint. This document is built with several levels of headings.

In a distinct list, I want to create a new "Link" item to provide a link to a specific heading of the Word document mentioned above.

When I use the "Copy link to heading" functionality to create this link, when I use the link afterwards, it brings me to the top of the Word document but not to the initially selected heading.

Do you have any guidance for me to get to the targeted heading?

Thanks in advance

    These steps worked for me:

    1. Click on the document name in the document library to open it
    2. Click on View > Navigation or the Navigation bar icon on the left to open the Navigation Bar
    3. Find the header you want to create a link for and hover your mouse over it
    4. You should see a "link" icon show up
    5. Click on that icon to copy the link to that header to your clipboard
    6. Paste the link to the address bar or an email to use it for later

    Hope that helps...
