Subject: Unable to Access Azure Free Account - Assistance Needed

Hi,

I am currently studying for the AZ-900 certification and planning to progress further, but I am unable to access the Azure Portal. I’ve tried registering with three different email addresses and three different credit cards, but I keep receiving the error message:

"You're not eligible for an Azure free account."

I’m based in Ireland and was wondering if this issue might be related to my region or if there’s something else I’m overlooking during the registration process.

Any guidance or support to help me resolve this would be greatly appreciated, as I’d like to actively use the portal for hands-on learning during my certification journey.

Thank you,

    Hi Paul Gleeson

Welcome to the Microsoft Q&A Platform! Thank you for asking your question here.

If you've already signed up for an Azure free account with any of your email addresses or credit cards, you can't create a new one. Microsoft allows only one free account per person.

Use a valid credit card, not a prepaid or virtual one, for Azure sign-ups. The billing address on the card must match your account address.

Check that the information you entered (email, address, phone number) is correct and matches your bank records. Mismatches could cause verification issues.

Browser settings can sometimes cause problems with registration. Try clearing cookies, using a different browser, or going into incognito mode to see if that helps.
