HI everyone,

I'm racking my brain trying to figure out how to deploy windows with the option of being able to autojoin a computer on one domain or another, i mean, i have two domains in which i can join my computers and each one with different credentials and different OUs.

I need a way to choose (or setup) in which domain join each computer when deploying them, and select in which OU also, listing them depending on selected domain.

So, i firstly try cloning my task sequence, adding TaskSequenceID priority in Customsettings, but always take default, so does not work for me. Also after that, changing first Gather in "Validate" to process customsettings... (MDT 6.3.8456)

something like:

priority=TaskSequenceID, Default

[domainA]

domain=A

[Default]

domain=B

Another option will be setting the task sequence itself with a powershell o vbs script but i want if possible to select the OU in each case (dont know how to do this).

Is there another way to acomplish this?

Select or write down a domain name in computer wizard and display its OU List will be awesome.

i hope i've been clear in the explanation ;)

thks in advance

Ima

    Hi,

    This thread we can refer to. In general, there is no built-in functionality for this, and we need to build it manually.

    Create Drop down list for Joining Domain in MDT - Microsoft Q&A

    Regards,

    Alex
