Unable to change printer properties on AVD

Hi all,

A few users are unable to change their printer properties once they transitioned to using Windows App to connect to the AVD. Previously, they were able to do so when they were still using the Remote Desktop app. There were no changes made to the configuration in the host pool regarding the printer redirection. I have attached two screenshots displaying the view of the user and the error message encountered when selecting Properties. Please advise.

@Mahesh Goud Juvvadi Apologies for the late update. Thank you for your suggestion. Could you please share on how to check whether the users have the necessary permissions to change the printer properties? Is this a known issue for Windows App with regards to changing printer properties? Thank you.

Thank you for your response.

Could you please follow the below steps to check and change the printer properties.

Open Control Panel - Hardware and Sound - Devices and Printers - Select your Printer and right click on it to select Printer Properties - go to Security tab then you will see list of users , to modify permissions click on edit and change the necessary permissions and apply changes.

Hi Mahesh Goud Juvvadi

I have checked the properties when using both Remote Desktop client and Windows App client and they are both the same. I have also not configured any Group Policy settings that relate to printer properties. Please advise. Thank you.
