I am working to migrate SLES15 SP4 to Azure. I have completed the discovery using Azure Migrate Agent. I am trying to assess the server. However I am not getting any details on dependency analysis. From Microsoft document, I find SLES15 SP3 & below but do not find SLES15 SP4. I need to find the integrations and hence i need to complete the dependency analysis. Need your help to find a way out. Thanks.

    Hi @Saravanan Subbaiah
    Welcome to Microsoft Q&A Forum!
When conducting a dependency analysis for migrating from SUSE Linux Enterprise Server (SLES) 15 SP4 to Azure, you may face challenges due to the lack of specific documentation for SP4 in Azure Migrate. Here are steps and considerations to guide you through the process.
1.Ensure that you have an Azure Migrate project created and that the Discovery and assessment tool is added to this project.
2.Confirm that the Azure Migrate appliance is properly set up and has successfully discovered your on-premises servers.
3.To perform agent-based dependency analysis, install the Dependency agent and Microsoft Monitoring Agent (MMA) on your SLES 15 SP4 servers. This is essential for collecting metadata and performance data required for dependency visualization.
4.Ensure that you associate a Log Analytics workspace with your Azure Migrate project, and make sure the workspace is located in a supported region (East US, Southeast Asia, or West Europe) for proper functionality.
6.In the Azure Migrate portal, navigate to the Discovered servers section and ensure that you have selected the Dependencies (Agent-based) column to visualize dependencies
7.If you face issues during dependency analysis, consult troubleshooting guides that cover common problems with both agent-based and agentless analysis. This may involve checking network connectivity, verifying proper agent installation, and ensuring your system is correctly registered with the SUSE Customer Center.
8.Although documentation for SLES 15 SP4 may be limited, make use of general resources for Azure Migrate and SLES migrations. You can also engage with community forums or support channels to gain insights from others who have encountered similar challenges.
