Private Endpoint for CosmosDB for MongoDB

Hi ,

I am trying to achive below thing in Azure.

I have a CosmosDB for MongoDB which is accessible publicly. But i need to connect the MongoDB from MongoDBCompass from my laptop.

I have some resources in Azure which is accessible only when i connect to the Azure VPN from my laptop. like this i have to configure the cosmos DB and networking.

I tried creating private endpoints and DNS but its not working.

Please help me with the steps to achive this.
