Pause updates is frozen
Hi - I just got my laptop and didnt mean to pause updates> Ive seen threads that say I should be able to cancel this with a "resume updates" button but my system is in that spinning stage where it is in limbo - can you help?

Hope everything is going well.
In my experience the majority of devices are just fine after resuming. If you can't unpause the updates, we can clear the registry keys for the pause if desired:
Open Registry Editor.
Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\WindowsUpdate.
In the right pane, right click on SetDisablePauseUXAccess registry DWORD and select Delete. Click Yes on confirmation prompt.
Close Registry Editor and reboot.
