So I created my Entra profile and had an existing Azure Acct and attempted to do the Azure "Create a Microsoft Fabric Lakehouse" training and I get the following error ;

Something went wrong

Then I get another error message stating;

Upgrade to a free Microsoft Fabric trial

Failed to prepare a free trial capacity for this workspace

I only have 40 days left on my trial and would love to actually play with this tech.

Sorry if this is a dup but what are the steps to unifi or rectify my accts so that.

Should I see Fabric listed under the App Launcher? I only see Power BI, Security, Purview, and Admin ATM.

Also, I should be logged in with my @sitename.onmicrosoft.com not my personal email Azure Acct, correct?

Add Info:

When I go to https://app.fabric.microsoft.com/home I do have a BI dashboard

Clicking on the trial countdown states;

Upgrade to Power BI Pro

    Hi VeX Harbinger,

    Thank you for reaching out to us on the Microsoft Q&A forum.

    It seems there’s some confusion about your Microsoft Fabric and Power BI trial and licensing status. Here’s how to clarify the situation:

    1. License Info: If your workspace only shows "Pro," your account is currently set up for Power BI Pro features. This may mean the Microsoft Fabric trial wasn’t activated or your account isn’t eligible.
    2. Trial Countdown: The Power BI Pro trial is separate from Microsoft Fabric, and each has its own licensing and trial terms.
    3. Check Eligibility: Ensure your organization qualifies for the Microsoft Fabric trial, as some accounts may not be eligible.
    4. Verify Activation: Confirm that your Microsoft Fabric trial was activated. Look for a confirmation email or notification.
    5. Account Type: Make sure you’re using the correct organizational account (e.g., @sitename.onmicrosoft.com), as personal accounts may limit access.
    6. Access Fabric: Try accessing Microsoft Fabric directly. If it’s available but still shows only Power BI Pro, the trial may not apply to your account.

    Please reach out to us if you have any other queries.
