On opening .tmp files in new version of MS word are not getting parsed.

With the recent update from Microsoft, we are facing below issue.

Earlier we were using the versions of Version 2402 (Build 17328.20452) and (Build 17328.20612). It was working fine.

But later our organization updated the word version to Version 2402 (Build 17328.20648).

This is causing the issue.

We have a C++ and C# product, from that product we open word templates files.

Before update, on opening the template we were seeing the actual template, but now after Office upgrade, we are seeing the MSOHTML content instead of content.

What we observed is that the .tmp files getting created on opening the word document, the .tmp files containing the HTML contents is not getting parsed and rendered as normal HTML in newer builds.

Is there any change in terms of encoding/parsing while opening the document in newer version?

Could you kindly provide us resolution ASAP.
