Yes, OneNote for Windows Desktop doesn’t have Add-ins options like other Microsoft Office apps (Excel, Word).
In addition to use add-ins (Developed via Office JavaScript API) in the OneNote for web, you can extend its functionality through:
- Microsoft Power Automate: Automate workflows and integrate OneNote with other services.
- Microsoft Graph API: Build custom solutions to interact with OneNote programmatically.
