I am using OneDrive web on Mac. I had one excel file containg crucial data. All of sudden file is missing. I am 100 % sure that I did not delete the file. I have saved link of that file but now when I am trying to open that link, I am getting error

"Sorry, an error has occurred.

Please try these methods and confirm if it will help:

Check if files have been moved or renamed: Sometimes files may be accidentally moved to other folders or renamed. You can try searching for a file name or part of it in OneDrive.

Check the OneDrive Recycle Bin: Even if you didn't delete a file, it could be accidentally deleted and moved to the Recycle Bin. You can see if the file is available in the Recycle Bin in OneDrive.
