CANNOT RESET PIN

Question

I cannot reset the pin on my Microsoft 11 account. I have tried everything, including logging into my account, where I see no option to reset pin only to reset the password. I have rebooted in safe mode and then tried to reset the pin with the safe mode with networking and that didn’t work. I simply don’t have the option to click on reset pin ( it’s there, but nothing happens when I click on it) or even to login with a username and a password. I have looked everywhere and troubleshoot 15 different ways, including this one https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/discussions/windows11/pin-locked-with-no-option-to-change/4291081/replies/4294967

I have no access to another laptop only my phone.

Let's try a few more advanced troubleshooting steps below:

1.Delete the Ngc Folder:

Open File Explorer and navigate to C:\Windows\ServiceProfiles\LocalService\AppData\Local\Microsoft.

Locate the Ngc folder and delete it. This folder stores PIN-related settings and deleting it can help reset any corrupted data.

Restart your computer and try setting up your PIN again.

2.Reset Your PC:

If it still not works, you might need to reset your PC. Go to Settings > Update & Security > Recovery > Reset this PC. Choose to keep your files and follow the instructions.

3.Please check if there is any related group policy setting that disable /turn off PIN.
