Question about Learning and Practicing Microsoft Dynamics 365

Hi,

I am reaching out regarding my efforts to learn Microsoft Dynamics 365 and work towards certification.

My name is Steffen, and I am a private individual currently using MS Learning, which is an excellent platform for theoretical knowledge. However, I am facing challenges in gaining practical experience with the software, as the 30-day trial period is not sufficient for me to fully grasp the program.

I am dyslexic, and English is not my native language, which means I need more time to study and practice thoroughly.

My goal is to obtain the Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Fundamentals (CRM) certification and gradually work my way up to becoming skilled, and possibly an expert, in the platform.

I would like to ask:

  1. Is there a sandbox environment available for Dynamics 365 that allows for extended access to practice?
  2. Is there a student version or a more affordable option that I can use to practice over a longer period?

I hope you can help me find a solution that supports my learning and professional goals.

Thank you very much for your assistance.

Best regards,

Steffen

    Hi Steffen Christiansen,

Thank you for reaching out to us on the Microsoft Q&A forum.

Apart from the learning modules sandbox. There are ways to access Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) for study purposes. A few of them are through free trials offered by Microsoft of its various Dynamics 365 applications, by using the below link: https://www.microsoft.com/en-in/dynamics-365/

    Dynamics 365 Sales

    Dynamics 365 Customer Service

    Dynamics 365 Finance

Dynamics 365 Business Central And many more.

These trials usually last for 30 days, we can access only for 30 days. if we want to learn D365 BC more yes, we need to buy the license.

You're welcome to practice session using the Dynamics 365 free trial, but you'll need an organizational account to gain access.

It's important to note that attempting to access the free trial with a personal account will not be successful.
