Good evening,

I downloaded the VirtualDJ application, but when I try to launch it, I get the following message: "The procedure entry point GetUserDefaultGeoName could not be located in the dynamic link library c://Program Files(x86)/VirtualDJ/virtualdj.exe."

Could you please help me resolve this issue? Thank you in advance!

    Hi @JeffDJ_589,

Welcome to the Microsoft Q&A Platform! Thank you for asking your question here.

The error message "The procedure entry point GetUserDefaultGeoName could not be located in the dynamic link library c://Program Files(x86)/VirtualDJ/virtualdj.exe." occurs when a program file is damaged or the wrong version. also with an outdated operating system, Microsoft Windows 10 version or newer is required for VirtualDJ.

Ensure that your version of Windows is compatible with the VirtualDJ version you intend to use.

Completely remove VirtualDJ from your system. Then, download the latest version of VirtualDJ from the official website to guarantee you have the most up-to-date and compatible release.

An outdated operating system can cause corrupted. Installing the latest Windows updates can help fix this error. Navigate to CMD as an administrator and run command sfc /scannow so you check for repair corrupted system files.
