How to find out the DesktopVirtualization API being used and how to update the API?

Hi,

Recently, I received this service alert which states "Action required: Update to DesktopVirtualization API v. 2024-04-08-preview or API v. 2024-04-03". I do not understand what API they are referring to and how to check the current version being used. Furthermore, I am unsure on how to update the version. Please advise me on this matter.

Can you supply a better detailed descriptions of this process, like for example you say;

Check your Azure portal: Navigate to the Azure Virtual Desktop resources and check the API version in the settings or configuration sections.

Where is the settings and config setting does this show? I can not find it. Microsoft should really start supplying resources on this as this seems like a major issue with AVD and to have a deadline of March 2025 is just really bad planning with virtually no support. Tutorial's with screenshots, videos with examples, etc, etc should all be provided. The lack of support on AVD is since the disaster Sept updates has been very disappointing. Microsoft please start supplying the required resources to complete these changes. Thanks
