Restore a deleted App Service Domain

I had an App Service domain in my MSDN subscription, but can no longer find it. It still works (DNS resolves), but I don't see the resource in Azure portal. Presumably, it has been deleted by accident.

There is no (free) option to contact support for MDSN subscription, is there anything I can do on my own? I.e. work with the registrar (wildwestdomains) to regain the ownership?

    Hi @Alexander Doroshenko
Thanks for the question and using MS Q&A platform.
I completely understand how frustrating this situation must be for you. I can imagine how it feels when things aren’t working as expected.
If your domain was registered with Wild West Domains or another third-party registrar and not directly through Azure App Service, Azure's domain recovery process will not apply. In that case, you'll need to:

    1. Log into your Wild West Domains account and check the status of the domain.
    2. Contact Wild West Domains support directly to verify if they can help you regain ownership of the domain.

MSDN subscriptions typically don't include free support, but if the domain was purchased through Azure, If recovery is not possible and the domain is critical, consider upgrading your support plan temporarily to get assistance from Azure support.
