Would like to eliminate Exchange mailbox calendars and convert to 365 Group for ease of collaboration with Teams. Need to transfer all calendar events/entries to the new 365 Group Calendar. Need to do this with multiple Exchange mailboxes that are used only for the calendar function.

However, due to a recent update in forum policy, the question author now is not able to accept their own answers. So, I have written a brief summary of the solution this issue. Please feel free to ACCEPT it as the Answer, which would benefit others who also have similar issues in the forum. Issue: You need to export your Exchange mailbox calendar and import those events into your 365 group/team calendar. Solution: In the Exchange Admin Center, select the mailbox you want to export and select Export. After importing, you need to switch to the list view twice for the shared calendar to appear in the list view. Then, select all events and drag the events into the Group calendar of which I am also an owner.

Thanks for your reply. In the Exchange Admin Center, after selecting a mailbox, you can click on the more options in the upper right corner, as shown in the screenshot:

Regarding changing the calendar view, you can go to Calendar in Outlook, select View > Change View, and select a different view，as shown in the screenshot:

We are Exchange online. I do not have those options.

When I change the view of the calendar, it will not change a "shared calendar" view. You can google it, a lot of comments with the same issue.

Appreciate the suggestions though.

My view is exactly the same as the screenshot you provided. I can change to list view on the shared calendar, but it will simply revert back to "My Calendar" and not the shared calendar I am trying to get in list view.

Thanks for your reply. You can try the following steps:

If your calendar events are not showing after importing, you can try to select More Options > Folders in Outlook. Switch to Folder view and see if you can find the imported calendar folder. As shown in the screenshot:

You can use Outlook web version to check if there are imported calendar events. As shown in the screenshot:

This may also happen if you choose the wrong folder when importing or if there is a problem with the exported content. You can try to export again, then create a new calendar folder and import the events in the .pst file into this new calendar.

Sorry, have been slammed. I found that if I made myself delegator in the shared mailbox and the calendar was in the "My Calendars" folder in Outlook, that I could get the calendar in list view. I actually had to switch to list view twice before the shared calendar would show in list view. I was then able to select all and drag the events to the Group calendar that I was also an Owner of.

As such I have been able to move shared/private mailbox calendars that were being used only for collaboration, over to Group calendars, which work better and are easier to manage.
