Following Establish your first account admin bellow:

https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/databricks/admin/#account-admins

I login with owner, global admin account in azure portal, and Go to accounts.azuredatabricks.net

and sign in with my global admin account here, but got following error:

Selected user account does not exist in tenant 'Microsoft Services' and cannot access the application 'xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxx' in that tenant. The account needs to be added as an external user in the tenant first. Please use a different account.

Not sure what happened and I couldnot manage my databrick and enable utinity catalog.

Please help!

    Hello Xuanbin Zhang,

    Thanks for your question.

    Try the following:

    • Clear your browser’s cache and cookies.
    • Try to use an account added to the tenant and not a personal or guest account

    For detailed steps see: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/troubleshoot/entra/entra-id/app-integration/error-code-AADSTS50020-user-account-identity-provider-does-not-exist

    @Xuanbin Zhang ,

    Thankyou for posting your query on Microsoft Q&A platform.

    Glad to know that the issue has been resolved. I am posting the solution so that you can accept here and help the community to get the solution:

    "The issue was resolved by following the recommended steps. A personal account was being used initially, but an organizational account was required. Additionally, global admin permissions on the Entra ID tenant were necessary for setting up Unity Catalog.

    A new user was created within the tenant, and temporary global administrator rights were assigned to this account. After logging in with the new user, the setup was completed successfully."
