Hi @Samuel Blättler,
Welcome to the Microsoft Q&A platform!
According to your description, you are experiencing a problem where the meeting details are delayed in displaying in the preview pane when users receive an Outlook invitation. I suggest that you can try the following steps to resolve this issue:
- Sometimes, starting Outlook in safe mode can help determine if the problem is caused by an add-in. To do this, press Win + R, type outlook.exe /safe, and then press Enter. Check if the problem persists.
- Make sure your Outlook is up to date. Sometimes, newer updates fix errors. Go to File > Office Account > Update Options > Update Now.
- You can try to repair your Office installation. Go to Control Panel > Programs and Features, select Microsoft Office, and then click Change. Select Online Repair and follow the prompts.
- Sometimes, resetting the calendar view can help. Open the calendar, go to the View tab, and then click Reset View.
- Running the command Outlook.exe /cleanroamedprefs can clear and reset your Outlook preferences. To do this, press Win + R, type Outlook.exe /cleanroamedprefs, and then press Enter.
- Disable any unnecessary add-ins that may be interfering. Go to File > Options > Add-ins and manage COM add-ins by disabling them one by one to see if the issue is resolved.
- Verify if the issue occurs in OWA. If not, the issue may be specific to the Outlook client.
Please feel free to contact me for any updates. And if this helps, don't forget to mark it as an answer.
Best,
Jake Zhang
