Hello,

I noticed today that EastUS supports k8s version 1.30.6 while the EastUS2 region only supports up to 1.30.5 (on the 1.30.x line). Is there a timeframe/documation location as to when EastUS2 will begin supporting 1.30.6?

Hi @Stephen Turcol Thank you for reaching out to the Microsoft Q&A platform

The rollout of the version in that region, is still ongoing, as it can be checked here: https://releases.aks.azure.com/.

Usually timeframes are nor public disclosed since multiple factors can influence new version deployments, and some versions can be retired or delay due to multiple reasons.

You can check the status on the previous link.

    Hello @Stephen Turcol

Looking at EastUS and EastUS2 I can see that 1.30.6 is in both regions already.  The full documentation, including this command for checking version of AKS, is on Learn.

You can always check by using this Azure CLI command. This is for eastus2.

az aks get-versions --location eastus2 --output table
