Can a backend pool VM connect to it's load balancer URL?

Hi Team,

I have come across a scenario where the backend pool had to connect to the Load Balancer URL.

Backend pool server is listening on port 7443

Load Balancer is configured with this single backend pool server.

When the App URL is tried accessing from the backend pool server, it is not working.

But the URL is accessible from outside the network.

Kindly advise if there could any issue.

Please note we have already verified the below:

Backend pool servers' NSG and Load Balancer NSG are allowing traffic with each other.

Backend pool server is healthy and is listening on the specified port

    • No, it won't be supported these types of scenarios for Internal LB.

    Q. Could you please Let me know whether you are using a Public Load Balancer or an Internal Balancer?
