How to transfer OneNote notebooks to another account

Hello!

I am a recent graduate and will lose access to my university OneDrive account. So, I am trying to transfer all of my school notes (saved to OneNote) to my personal account. However, when I try to transfer the files by copying and pasting between OneDrive accounts, I just get a URL file with a link to my notebook (not an actual copy of the notebook).

Is there a way to download a copy of a OneNote notebook from my school account and upload it to my personal account?

Please let me know if more information is needed. For reference, I am using a Mac computer.

Thank you!

    Hi,

I suggest you refer to this support article and check if the method will help you:

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/copy-transfer-or-import-files-to-your-personal-onedrive-7dbda93c-71e6-483f-8914-ad445554cd31

OneNote's Notebooks are also saved under OneDrive, so you can try the above method.
