From your description, I know you are encountering issue with the Assigned Access (Kiosk mode) configuration in Intune.
To clarify this issue, please check the following.
1.Try to restart the device and see if we can use .\kioskUser0 login in.
2.Delete the old configuration profile and re-check the profile, then create a new one and assign it to device to see if it can work.
3.We can go to event viewer to check the event log under Applications and Services Logs > Microsoft > Windows > DeviceManagement-Enterprise-Diagnostic-Provider > Admin to see if any error exists.
