"Something Went Wrong. [1001]" Error on Microsoft Intune App for Ubuntu

Hello Microsoft Community,

I'm experiencing an issue with the Microsoft Intune app on Ubuntu. When I try to log in to my organisation account, I'm getting a "Something Went Wrong. [1001]" error message. The app asks for my email address, but after entering it, the password screen doesn't appear, and instead, I get the error screenshot attached.

Troubleshooting steps I've tried:

  1. Reinstalled the Intune app
  2. Updated Microsoft Edge
  3. Cleared Edge browser cache

None of these steps have resolved the issue. Has anyone else encountered this problem or have any suggestions on how to fix it?

Environment:

  • Ubuntu: 22.04.4 LTS
  • Microsoft Intune app: intune-portal 1.2404.25
  • Microsoft Edge: Version 125.0.2535.51 (Official build) (64-bit)
