How can bitlocker affect when installing dual boot windows with linux

I want to know more information on how bitclocker affects when dual booting in the same disk. I have windows 11 pre installed and when I tried to install linux with dual boot (particion made previously in windows) y have problems with bitlocker. Do I need to disable it before installing?

Disable the bitlocker from control panel, then proceed with the linux installation on a different partititon.
