XML files changed to HTML files

Why all of a sudden have my xml files gone to microsoft edge html files ? I have tried selecting a couple of files and then right clicked to see if it would give me option to open with blah blah blah but nothing. How can I get my files back to XML and not HTML

What are you talking, a XML file is a XML file?
Or do you mean, that the default app for opening a XML is Edge Browser? Then change the default app for XML.

2024-03-12T04:39:38.15+00:00 Yes I know an xml file is an xml file. It's just every single one of my xml files on my PC are yes doing what your last paragraph says edge browser as default. How do I change this back to how it use to be I.e not edge

ive tried default apps way and right click open with and nothing
