Hi We are currently running on .NET 7 and also have .NET 6 installed as part of the individual component and would like to upgrade to .NET 8, but we make use of Service Fabric runtime 9.0.1107.9590 and I saw on the official documentation(https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/service-fabric/service-fabric-versions#supported-windows-versions-and-support-end-date) the latest Service Fabric runtime support up to .NET 7. I also noticed that the documentation was last updated in April 2023 before .NET 8 release. Therefore I would like to know if Service Fabric is supported on .NET 8 and can still be functional on .NET 8 as is on .NET 7.

    Original answer:

I reached out to the Service Fabric team and confirmed that the documentation is currently up to date. There is no current version of the Service Fabric runtime that supports the .NET 8 runtime.
