Are there plans to make RSAT available for the ARM Processors?

I am confused. This other Microsoft resource (indicated at bottom of post) indicates that Windows Admin Center is complimentary to the RSAT Tools due to a lack of feature parity. Your response indicates that for typical tasks we should be able to leverage Windows Admin Center. However that means there are still scenarios in which Windows Admin Center will not be sufficient.

So the reality is, the Windows System Administrator should ensure that they have ready access to an X86 device, to be able to confidently address all workloads?

If Microsoft is going thru the effort of even support windows on ARM, why not also have RSAT on ARM? Cause your early adopters to that platform are bound to be system administrators and not random rank and file users anyway...

The WAC is sloppy, slow and not intuitive. Adding devices for single tasks is a complete burn of time. Also the client based authentication is a hassle to share it among colleagues on a terminal server.

Multiple accounts are also impossible to use and it requires starting it with the targeted users. We i.e. use non admin accounts to work, but elevate for rsat on privileged workstations as the domain admins are not allowed to sign in on clients.

The requirements of the WAC are also incredible high, compared to RSAT MMCs or simple using the powershell module.

It would be so much better to have the tools, which work since ever and are still in use by all Windows admins. Blunt said are current Windows on Arm devices not the fastest and using the WAC on top is unreasonable and using so much resources like RAM which slows everything down. I'm glad I use it on a Macbook with a M1 Pro, but even there you feel how slow it is

RSAT is currently in maintenance mode and is available as Feature on Demand (FOD) on x64 platform. Our recommendation to Windows on ARM customers at this time is to use Windows Admin Center, a browser-based management tool that has all the features typically needed by IT admins. Please ask your customers to test WAC and let us know if doesn’t meet all their requirements.

We query active directory during the WinPE phase of our OS Deployment so we need the arm64_microsoft.activedir..anagement.resource and arm64_microsoft.activedirectory.management dll's.
