Upgrade to Microsoft Edge to take advantage of the latest features, security updates, and technical support.
I am changing from Vivaldi to Microsoft Edge today since I noticed we now have the Workspace feature that was the main reason I was using Vivaldi before.
The problem is that even though I have created the Workspaces according to my need and set this setting to "Open tabs from the previous sessions":
Settings > Start, home, and new tabs > When Edge starts
Every time that open close Edge and reopen it, it just opens the browser in a new tab out of the Workspace I was just working on.
My question is: Is there any way to set a default Workspace for Edge to launch every time I open the browser? Or just set it to open the browser in the Workspace I was working on before closing it?
Hi Goncalves, CaioX,
Thanks for posting in our Q&A forum.
Upon checking and testing, there is currently no way to launch Microsoft Edge to Workspace directly.
We recommend that you could submit a feature request to the Dev Team by sending feedback (Press Alt+Shift+I) in Microsoft Edge.
We highly appreciate your kind understanding.
