Latex convertion

Hello,

I’m using Words equation editor on an iMac and when I enter the formula \mathring{A} then click on convert professional it removes the braces but doesn’t transform into the symbol A topped by a circle.

What should I do?

The equation is correct: it works on Pages

when writing latex some text editors remove \ from it thus making the code invalid to render. i had similar issues while writing equations and math solutions for my website notes of math. DO check your text editor if it is removing the \ when you hit enter.
